Product: Soft Store Food Storage Bag
Cost: $30.00 - 35.00
Available from: catalog mail order

The Soft Store food storage bag is a great way to store your kibble. It's an air tight and compact, yet large enough to store a whole month's worth of kibble and keep it fresh and bug free. Mom got one for Christmas and she loves it! It's basically a nylon bag with an airtight screw-on cover and inside plastic liner to keep food fresh, pest free and dry. Though simple in design, it is very well made and is great for both weekends away or general food storage purposes. Mom likes it for when we go to Maine because it doesn't take up a lot of room and itıs more flexible than the plastic bucket we use to use. Also, it's better than ziploc bags since my sister likes to chew through those and help herself to the weekend vittles. When not in use, this bag folds up to fit in a drawer. It comes in 2 sizes, 22lbs and 50lbs (meaning it holds a whole bag of dog food, YUM !) We use ours for travel, but it could be used for storing your stash of food for daily use as well. The Soft Store bag is sturdy, made out of the same material as a backpack, which is tough, but probably not chew proof. If you're a chow hound like my sister (I'm one to talk: I once ate 10lbs of dog food in 10 minutes, burp !!) you may want to ask your Mom to store it in the back hall or in a cupboard. Mom's only complaint about the Soft Store bag is the length of the handle. The handle is designed so that you can hand the whole bag on a door knob or peg, which means it's too short to put over your shoulder when you're carrying all your bag and baggage out to the car. Most of the time however it's not that full and she usually just stuffs it inside something else. The Soft Store bag comes in three colors (hunter green, maroon and blue) and can be ordered through most doggie catalog companies.
